Myriade, 74th Arts, 2025
The 74th Arts (Foire internationale d'art contemporain) s'est emparée de Marseille, transformant l'emblématique hôtel Les Bords de mer en un lieu dynamique dédié à la création contemporaine.
Dans le cadre de cette initiative audacieuse, j'ai été invitée par @caroline_pelletti_victor, aux côtés des talentueuses créatrices @ateliersimone_indigo, @gdbelise et @behindthehill, pour
co-créer une installation textile : Myriade.
Myriade est une œuvre textile contemporaine entièrement réalisée à la main. Elle se compose d'une paire de rideaux confectionnés à partir de coton sauvage traditionnel selectionnés par Behindthehill, teint naturellement à l'indigo par Simone Atelier et brodé à la main avec des fragments de nacre par Manon et Elise Garcia del Barrio.
Inspirée par la côte méditerranéenne — ses textures, ses couleurs et sa richesse —, cette œuvre évoque les myriades de coquillages éparpillés comme des trésors éphémères sur le sable. Myriade est un hommage à l'artisanat lent, à la nature et à la poésie de la mer.

The 74th International Art Fair, took over Marseille, transforming the iconic Les Bords de mer hotel into a vibrant hub for contemporary creation.
As part of this beautiful and bold initiative, I was invited by @caroline_pelletti_victor — alongside talented makers @ateliersimone_indigo, @gdbelise and @behindthehill — to co-create a textile installation: Myriade.
Myriade is a contemporary textile piece made entirely by hand. It consists of a pair of curtains crafted from wild heirloom cotton sourced by Behindthehill, naturally dyed with indigo by Simone Atelier, and hand-embroidered with mother-of-pearl and nacre fragments by Manon and Elise Garcia del Barrio.
Inspired by the Mediterranean coast — its textures, colors, and richness — this work evokes the myriads of seashells scattered like fleeting treasures on the sand. Myriade is a tribute to slow craft, nature, and the poetry of the sea.
