Caroline a confié sa première carte blanche à Manon et Elise Garcia del Barrio pour réaliser la nappe de cette table festive autour des treize desserts.
Il était question d’évoquer la Méditerranée tout en étant relié aux valeurs du Bunker. La notion de savoir-faire et d’éco-conception doit être mise à l’honneur !
C’est pour cela que Manon et Elise ont travaillé à partir d’un drap ancien chiné, qui porte en lui une histoire passée, comme une voile de bateau porte l’empreinte de ses anciennes traversées.
La broderie est rapidement arrivée comme une envie forte de pratiquer un savoir-faire textile différent pour Manon et l’occasion pour Elise de montrer l’étendue de son art. « La mer a ses trésors » c’est avant tout un projet pour réunir deux sœurs.
Elles ont travaillé à 4 mains sur un métier à broder artisanal en bois. Le motif s’est dessiné peu à peu avec la contrainte d’être placé sur le bas de la nappe, afin de pouvoir dialoguer avec « l’oiseau nage » qui s’envole de chaque côté de la nappe.
« La mer a ses trésors » est une invitation à une promenade sur la plage.
Le sable caresse nos pieds et la mer passe et repasse, en offrant à chaque passage, des brides de nacres, pierres et cordages. La corde danse au gré des différents va-et-vient de l’eau.
« La mer a ses trésors » est une histoire de matières,
la nacre brillante rencontre les perles de bois mat et veinées et le cordage de chanvre. Le tout est saupoudré de perles dorées : ce sont les grains de sables qui attrapent les rayons du soleil."

Embroidered tablecloth made for the launch of the “Collaborated Object” project led by Caroline Pelletti Victor.
Caroline entrusted her first carte blanche to Manon and Elise Garcia del Barrio to create the tablecloth for this festive table around the thirteen desserts.
It was about recalling the Méditerrannée sea while being linked to the values of the Bunker. Expertise and eco-design must be honored !
For all these reasons, Manon and Elise worked on a thrifted sheet with a past history, like a boat sail carrying the prints of their ancients paths.
Embroidery quickly came as a strong want for practicing a different textile expertise for Manon and the opportunity for Elise to show her art. "Treasures of the sea" is first and foremost a project to reunite two sisters.
They worked together on an artisanal wooden embroidery loom. The pattern showed up little by little, with the restraint of being placed on the bottom of the tablecloth, to make space for “the bird swims” that fly on each side of the table.
"Treasures of the sea" is an invitation to a walk on the beach.
The sand caresses our feet while the sea is rolling up and rolling down, offering mother-of-pearl straps, stones and ropes. The rope is dancing in the drawings of the water.
"Treasures of the sea" is a materials story where nacre meets matted and veined wooden beads and hemp rope. Everything is sprinkled with golden pearls: these are the grains of sand that catch the sun's rays.
